Safeguarding & welfare

Yes. Every member of staff β€” including teachers, activity leaders, residential staff and kitchen team β€” undergoes an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check before starting work. All checks are renewed every three years.
During activities and excursions the ratio is a maximum of 10:1 for ages 8–11, and 15:1 for ages 12–17. Overnight supervision is provided on every residential floor.
Yes. Students are permitted to use their mobile phones during designated free periods. Parents may call the campus welfare office at any time. We provide daily wellbeing updates via our parent portal app.
Each campus has a trained first-aider on duty 24 hours a day. For minor illness, the student rests and is monitored. For anything more serious, we contact parents and local medical services immediately. We recommend all students have comprehensive travel insurance.
